Răzvan is a Managing Associate in our Bucharest office, who is highly specialized in Environment/Regulatory compliance, licensing and public procurement matters, on which he has offered support in high-profile transactions that were very challenging and relevant for the market.

He also has very broad experience in the Energy Sector and in Real Estate. He has assisted on all energy-related matters, including upstream and renewable related transactions.

The most recent major transactions on which Razvan has worked include projects relating to Environment/Regulatory compliance: providing day-to-day assistance to one of the largest medical waste operators in Romania for the past 2 years; assisting a leading expert in the treatment, purification and processing of sediments, soil, groundwater and specific industrial waste substances with its reorganization plans in Romania, a complex project which involved consultancy on the legal aspects in terms of environment/regulatory compliance; assisting with the market entry of European Energy A/S into Romania (including the acquisition of a renewable project and participation in land tendering procedures) etc.

On Energy/Public Procurement, recent projects on which Razvan has worked include: assistance to a Canadian corporation and its Romanian subsidiary, with regard to the refurbishment of Reactor 1 operated by the state-owned nuclear energy producer, Nuclearelectrica SA, a project with total investments exceeding EUR 1.5 billion (including aspects relating to the participation of the client in the investment, nuclear liability, EURATOM notifications, energy regulatory aspects, public procurement, etc.).
