Oana is an Associate Manager at KPMG Legal – Toncescu și Asociații, with a strong focus on tax litigation and consultancy. She is a successful litigator with depth and breadth in commercial, energy, administrative, and fiscal law. Oana graduated from the Faculty of Law – University of Iași and has continuously expanded her professional expertise through involvement in complex, high-stakes litigation and strategic advisory projects for multinational clients.

Her current work involves, but is not limited to, a wide palette of high-stakes fiscal disputes, assisting clients throughout all stages from strategic advisory during the tax inspection to representation in complex disputes before the courts of law. She regularly advises clients on compliance with Romanian and EU tax regulations, represents them before tax authorities and courts, and contributes to the development of innovative legal strategies in fiscal matters. Her practice also includes assistance in energy and infrastructure projects, particularly in the renewable sector.

Oana has acted in high-stakes tax litigation involving claims exceeding EUR 30 million, representing companies in various industries. She has also provided legal assistance in transfer pricing disputes, in line with the OECD Guidelines, and regularly advises on procedural and substantive aspects of tax law.

Her practice in the energy field also includes assisting one of Romania’s largest energy players in a wide range of disputes, from consumer contract litigation to regulatory and competition-related proceedings, as well as labor-related conflicts. She has also successfully represented a multinational automotive manufacturer in contractual liability disputes and the largest private railway operator in Romania in complex infrastructure-related cases.

Her portfolio reflects both depth and versatility, covering tax, energy, and commercial litigation, with a consistent focus on delivering value through legal clarity, strategic thinking, and client-oriented solutions.
