Ioana is a Counsel and Co-Head of the Real Estate practice at KPMG Legal – Toncescu și Asociații, with over 17 years of professional experience in a wide range of real estate and M&A of real estate law matters.
Her broad experience spans a wide array of transactions across multiple sectors, including industrial&logistic, residential, office, agri-business and hospitality. Her main focus is on Real Estate and correlative real estate M&A and regulatory matters. Her proficiency includes structuring and negotiating complex internal and cross-border transactions, handling real estate components in public offerings, negotiating insurance matters entailed by complex transactions, addressing permitting related matters, as well as assisting clients on a broad spectrum of urbanism aspects.
Ioana’s extended background also entails assessment of in-depth restitution related matters depicting from the special restitution laws and privatization process, as well as advice on acquisition of distressed assets out of insolvency and liquidation proceedings.
