George is a Counsel and Head of the Life Sciences, Technology & Compliance Practice in KPMG Legal Romania. He has worked closely with international companies carrying out business involving pharmaceutical and selfcare products, technology, media and telecommunications, navigating them through complex regulatory matters and assisting with the implementation of emerging technologies, such as eHealth, Artificial Intelligence, ePrivacy or Blockchain based solutions.

George has also been considered a key contact for a significant number of high-profile international transactions, covering due diligence, negotiations and the drafting of the transaction documentation for matters relating to regulatory compliance, data privacy and intellectual property.

George has proven excellence in every area he has worked on, with notable accomplishments in:

Life Sciences - providing day-to-day assistance on regulatory matters related to Rx, OTC, medical devices, food supplements and cosmetic products; regulatory and compliance support in one of the largest transactions on the diagnostics market; providing support on legal and advocacy matters for the largest association of the selfcare industry in Romania.

Technology, Media and Telecommunications - providing data privacy support in one of the largest transactions on the telecommunications market with a total value of EUR268 Million; providing legal assistance for the purchase of a MotoGP team valued at EUR20Million offering marketing and media services; assisting many projects involving Transfer of Undertakings, Protection of Employment (TUPE) aspects of the outsourcing of IT departments.
