With over twenty years of experience in the legal field, Florentin has developed a comprehensive understanding of the law, ranging from public law and corporate matters to complex M&A transactions. Over the years, he has gained invaluable expertise in restitution cases, successfully managing some of the most notable restitution proceedings in Romania. In time, Florentin has focused his practice on the Energy sector, particularly renewable energy projects, as well as in public law and Defense & Security industry, where he has advised leading players in the market. Recognized for his expertise, Florentin has been appointed as an expert lawyer in the drafting of laws and regulations in both the restitution and energy sector. He continues to enhance his theoretical knowledge, having completed an Executive MBA and pursuing research through the Doctorate in Business Administration program.

Florentin advised one of Europe’s largest naval ship builders during a Romanian state’s defence acquisition tender and supported a leading European helicopter manufacturer in establishing a new production facility in Romania. He also managed the acquisition and operation of renewable hydro power plants and advised on the development and financing of renewable energy projects, including negotiations to obtain financing from domestic and international banks. His experience also includes the restructuring of Southeastern Europe’s largest chemical plant and securing the restitution of Romania’s most iconic castle (“Dracula Caste”). Additionally, he handled high-profile in-kind restitution of landmark properties once owned by prominent interwar Romanian industrialists.
