Andreea Merdariu is a Senior Associate in our Bucharest office with significant experience in advising domestic and international clients on complex real estate and renewable energy transactions, both share deal and asset deal structures. She has provided legal support throughout the full lifecycle of projects – from due-diligence reports and acquisitions to regulatory compliance, licensing and post-closing matters. Her background includes strong involvement in contract drafting, permitting procedures and regulatory for real estate and renewable energy projects.

Andreea has assisted international investors in the acquisition and development of large-scale photovoltaic (the largest having a capacity of 150 MW) and on-shore wind projects, providing support throughout the due diligence, permitting and transaction phases. Her expertise extends to supporting clients in negotiating land use and lease agreements, advising on regulatory energy licensing and managing compliance with energy, construction and urban planning laws. Andreea has also advised clients in the industrial and retail sectors, supporting transactions, property management agreements and regulatory aspects across Romania.
