Laura has over twenty years of experience in legal services, mainly dedicated to the financial services (FS) sector. During the last few years, Laura has focused her practice on projects connected to the use of technology in the financial sector. Laura provided buy-side and sell-side legal assistance in transactions that have been ranked as the biggest transactions on the market in their respective years.

Combining creativity and a deep knowledge of regulations, Laura has led innovative legal projects and has a successful track record in complex regulatory projects such as: the first authorization of an investment fund as controlling shareholder in a Romanian bank, the first merger between a bank and a non-banking financial institution, authorization of payment institutions, and authorization of Fintech companies as online lending providers, issuance of bonds by international institutions.
