Ioana serves as a Managing Associate within the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions team. With more than 9 years of experience in business law, her primary expertise lies in corporate and commercial law, as well as in mergers & acquisitions. She provided legal assistance and representation to companies during key stages of their incorporation and development, covering a wide range of activities encompassing both the management of ongoing corporate legal affairs and involvement in high-level strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions.

Ioana has successfully advised both domestic and international clients on complex merger and acquisitions projects, such as: the acquisition by one of the leaders of the telecommunications market of the controlling stake in the oldest Romanian fixed operator, the merger of a leading French retailer on the Romanian market with six group entities, the sale of a leading retailer on the Romanian optical market to a private equity fund and the reorganization by a merger process of an important group on the Romanian construction market.

She has also assisted clients on significant projects in other industries, such as intellectual property and real estate transactions, in sectors like retail, agribusiness and energy.
