Georgiana has 10 years of experience in a wide range of litigation, with her areas of expertise including commercial law, corporate disputes, shareholder disputes, administrative and tax procedures, insolvency and restructuring, contractual disputes, enforcement of foreign judgments, and last but not least, labor law disputes.
Throughout her career, Georgiana acquired significant experience in advocating for multinational corporations, financial institutions, and both public and private capital companies in proceedings before all levels of courts throughout the country.
Georgiana concentrated on resolving high-profile legal cases across various industries, where she was responsible for developing strategies and managing cases from start to finish, including trials, arbitrations, and settlements. She worked closely with clients to fully understand their specific needs, enabling her to tailor her approach and offer practical legal advice.
Among the notable matters she has handled, Georgiana played a significant role in numerous complex cases involving contractual liability disputes and the recovery of commercial debts, both in court and through alternative dispute resolution strategies. Additionally, she assisted clients during administrative and judicial proceedings, particularly in challenging governmental authorities' refusals to acknowledge rights to VAT reimbursement, challenging decisions made by tax authorities regarding corporate income tax, and addressing other administrative decisions issued by Romanian authorities in various domains such as environmental issues, public funds, energy, and consumer protection. Furthermore, Georgiana was actively involved in legal proceedings related to the enforcement of foreign arbitral or judicial awards.
In addition, starting with 2025, Georgiana is a member of the Romanian Institute for Lawyer’s Training.
